nature

 cool breeze caresses my skin
each season sets in gently
giving us time
to settle in
get used to it
 like summer sets in gently
with late night cool breezes
before hitting us with the flesh cutting heat;

so does monsoon,
first the drizzles
a different kind of cool breeze
that smells of rain and water
the smell of wet earth
telling us that perhaps
 its rained somewhere;

then its time for winter
gradually the mornings become cooler
the rain in the atmosphere
slowly turns to dry, more mature cool climate
making us want to gather ourselves
and settle  some place safe
its only when we have geared orselves, that
harsh winter sets in.

now why cant life be as considerate as mother nature herself?...

now what does brings to mind
when one thinks of palak raita
(in this case hung curd)
not much
it sounds drab
and sans any appetizing smells
but, this particular recipe

just the way people surprise you
the outer shell hardly ever
measures upto the potential within
